Shaza Hotel Riyadh is a perfect place to rest during traveling. If you need a luxury place to stay in Riyadh that offers a lot of amenities, Shaza hotel is your bet. From Eastern cuisine to modern Bistro, from luxury conference rooms to Moroccon Hammams, this hotel is an example of art and architecture.
I was invited to try their Lunch at Mena restaurant. I am not a big fan of dining out but when I decided to go because it was just near my home in Riyadh. Cheers! Convinced my husband to take me because why not. I love food. Lol.
So on Saturday, we decided to go and enjoy some extra calories. We were received by their Manager who was so accommodating and nice. I love those place where they respect bloggers so I must say, I loved the Shaza Hotel Riyadh.
Coming back to the lunch, it was a lavish spread. We asked their head chef to recommend us their popular main courses and drinks. On his recommendation, we ordered few things.
Goat cheese & beetroot salad and Prawn cocktail
Hummus,
We loved the hummus as trying hummus at every restaurant is something all Saudi people do. lol. It was rich and creamy, definitely yum.
Wild mushroom soup,
My little one is obsessed with soups and he literally licked the bowl so imagine how much tasty was the soup. lol.
Hyderabadi lamb biryani,
I asked my husband if this biryani is better than the one I make at home, and he said NOOOO. Thanks God he said no, otherwise he would have to sleep in lounge next all week. ha ha
And Pan seared Scottish salmon.
So salmon is my husband’s favorite and I make it once a week for sure. This salmon from Shaza Riyadh was a treat, little bit less in spices but I am sure you can ask their chef to adjust the taste as you like it.
Everything was super yummy. They have some super cool drinks and mojitos too. If you are into trying new food options and new drinks flavors, do give their Velvet spice a try. You will love it.

Now lets talk about my favorite part, desserts.. yes I am a big dessert lover. Their umm ali and blueberry cheesecake is super yum. A worth try!

I am a big cheesecake lover guys, and when I saw they have a cheesecake in their menu, I had to try it. And it didn’t disappoint my tastebuds. yayyyy.
And the best part, they have a playarea, all time managed by a sweet lady. You can drop off your kids there while staying and enjoy your time.
