END MOM SHAMING
END MOM SHAMING

So I am a mom blogger (errr woman blogger? Too ) and I constantly see other moms on social media sharing their homemade baby food recipes and how they keep everything healthy at home.

How they don’t give phones to their kids and how their kids sleep throughout the night. I am definitely not one of those PERFECT moms. I only try my best and whatever I share is my experience but not expert advice ?

But…but….but… If my kid is playing a game on his device ( like right now he is playing some lego kinda game), does that mean I am a bad mama?

Or if my kid is having a pack of oreos, does that make me a careless mom?

Or if I co sleep with my kids and they conquer my bed every night, is this making me a bad mom?

Or if I haven’t given birth vaginally ( the natural way, as a lot of them say) does that make me a less loving mama?

OF COURSE NOT!

If you have allowed your kid to watch TV and to play games before they turn TWO, raise your hands!

If you are a mom whose kids eat cheetos and store bought popcorns (ofcouse not everytime) then raise your hands!

If you have given readymade baby food to your baby in the time of need, raise your hands!

If you have formula fed your baby ( I didn’t breastfeed too because of complications) then raise your hands!

If you have given birth via c-section, raise your hands!

LET’S STOP MOMS SHAMING MOMS just because of different choices. You won’t agree with all the choices of any other mom.

So let’s respect each other. You know what is best for your kids and just like that, I know what is best for my kids, so that’s okay!

Mom shaming happens when we think that our way is the right way and all other ways are wrong. Instead of thinking why any other mom is choosing her way, we , assume she is wrong. Everyone has a reason behind a decision and not everyone knows the whole story.

Do you agree? I know you do! ?

Millions of moms out there have different parenting styles, different treatments, different food options, different choices and decisions and every mom is doing her best to provide the best of everything for her child.

How can you or me say that she is wrong?

Just because she isn’t doing things like you do, proves her a bad mom? NO WAY!

All of us come from a lot of different cultures, families, backgrounds and of course our choices are gonna be different too. I know I am right, and I believe you are right too!

Let’s learn to accept this and stop mom shaming. We have done this, a lot of us are doing this.

But let’s just stop this because we are gonna be the generation of moms who will end this MOM SHAMING and will start MOM ENCOURAGING instead.

We love our kids and all of us try our best ways to fulfill the needs of our kids. In this world where everyone is constantly judging you for the skin color you have, for the belief you follow, for the place you live, let’s not judge each other when it comes to MOTHERHOOD.

Motherhood is hard already and in this modern world of social media where everything is shown perfectly, let’s not fall prey for perfection. We all are a team and if we won’t support each other, nobody will!

So let’s end MOM SHAMING and promise ourselves we will never ever judge any mom and stop anybody who is doing that.

Would you promise that?
