So, we were having dinner the other night and I forgot to bring a yellow glass for my little one. Let me tell you guys that my little one has his yellow plate, bowl, glass, fork, and spoon set that we got from IKEA and he loves it. He drinks and eats in his set only. Well, so I was about to get up to fetch the glass but my husband told me to sit back and eat my meal. While he helped my little one in getting the glass from the kitchen. It was a sweet surprise to me, and for my kids too. We smiled!

So I am here, writing this to remind you all, and of course myself, that just like we, women want to get praised for whatever we do, men also need that! We forget that our husbands equally work hard.
Motherhood is demanding, and so is Fatherhood!
So dear husband, I just want to thank you for helping me get that yellow glass for our son last night.
Thank you for giving me your love and affection that never changed even when I am a mother of 2 kids and I don’t give you enough time.
Thank you for ignoring my imperfections and flaws.
Thank you for bearing my shopping trips to the malls and for picking and dropping me on time.
Thank you for waiting outside the house for those
Thank you for showing me how to be kind with unfortunate people.
Thank you for insisting me to pray even when I am lazy.
Thank you for making me laugh and singing songs with me in our car and playing with us all in the park.
Thank you for working hard enough to earn well for our family and for providing the best of everything for our kids.
Thank you. my husband, for not thinking twice before giving me your credit cards and money. 🙂 That one deserved a heart too, so let’s just put a <3
Thank you for letting me know that you love me the most.
Thank you for calling me every day before you come home to ask if I need anything.
Thank you for picking up the grocery bags for me and putting them on the kitchen counter to save me from bending down, because you know my back still hurts.
Thank you for not judging me when I eat a whole tub of ice cream and eat all the nuts from the tub, leaving the cream behind.
Thank you for supporting me in everything I have ever asked for.
Thank you for teaching our boys, how to be good husbands to their wives.
I remember when I was pregnant, my grandmother told me I need to get a photo of my ideal person so that I could see that person all day and my kid would grow up to be like him. I framed a photo of my husband and placed it on my side table so that I could see him all day and night. I wanted my kids to walk in my husband’s footprints.
Now I am a mom of two beautiful boys Alhamdulillah and I only wish my kids grow up to be like their father.
So, thank you my dear husband, for being the kindest man.
We love you!
Just A SUPER TIRED WIFE 🙂
