DEAR MOMMY! HOLD YOUR BABY A LITTLE MORE. ASUPERTIREDMOM

Dear mommy, hold your baby a little more!

“He will never learn to sleep on his own”

“He will get used to your lap and you will regret it”

“Don’t make him a mama’s baby!”

“Just an excuse to not do anything, holding baby every time, you are a lazy mama”

“If you will not make him learn to be on his own now, when will you do that?”

I am sure all of you must have heard things like this just like me. And whenever you rock your baby to sleep, these things run around in your mind too.

You doubt yourself!

Am I really a good mom?

Am I a clingy mom?

    I am a Boy’s Mom and I love it!

Will he ever learn to sleep without me?

Will he get too attached to my lap?

But look at the baby who is sleeping in your arms, so peaceful and so safe.

Don’t you wana hold your baby a little more?

I know you can feel your baby is growing fast right in front of your eyes and your friends and relatives tell you that you have to do this and do that but you don’t want to follow those advice! Then trust me, you don’t have to! Nobody can force their choice on you.

This is your child, and you are the one to choose how you will parent him. He will be a grown up soon and he won’t even need you as he needs you now. So just rock him a little longer mama.

Kiss him more.

Hold him a little more

Hug him more because this time will never come!
