WE HAD LAZY SUMMER VACATIONS AND I DON’T REGRET IT!

Okayy so Summer holidays have ended already! I mean just give me a break, hold on a minute! Really? I remember the lazy summer vacations were just yesterday that I was planning a lot of stuff and wrote down my schedule that I had to follow and I didn’t even get time to follow that either!

I am still in a state of a surprise because the time just flew and now I am here, thinking about all incomplete to-do lists and plans that I had to do. I planned to wake up early during vacations even though kids had no school but still, to keep the routine. To read story books with my kids and make them learn to write more.

LAZY SUMMER VACATIONS ARE GONE!

I had to start doing exercise and lose those extra pounds and fit into a size smaller. And to cook new and healthier recipes for my family. But what I have been doing! Like seriously!

Instead of following all these schedules, I have actually gained weight these lazy summer vacations because nobody cooked those healthy meals. We ate pizza and pasta this summer and had coca-cola too! Yeah, you can judge me on this, I fed my kids McDonald’s burgers and nuggets too. My kids learned singing new songs instead of learning new rhymes and I have started feeling that they have souls of singers..lol.

I couldn’t give my kids clean house, summer-ready, and cool summer vacations like many of other moms who have Instagram-ready vacations. I felt really really low and asked myself,” this is what I have given my kids? Disappointment and boring summer vacations? It hit me hard!

But no, hold on a minute, you know what I actually gave them? I gave them MYSELF during these lazy summer vacations!

We didn’t wake up early whole summer and enjoyed those late mornings cuddles and giggles. We watched movies together and enjoyed Ben and Holly long episodes too. Now I remember all the names of characters in all the cartoons series and I am proud of it.?

My house isn’t like a magazine ready, clean house but it is full of love and memories that we made together. I didn’t live up to my summer vacation expectations and those unreal to do lists but I am happy because we had fun and had so much time together. Failing those expectations was worth it!❤️

How were your summmer vacations? ?❤️
